We are seeking a skilled Antenna Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, simulation, and analysis of advanced antenna systems. Job Overview: 

The Antenna Engineer will be responsible for supporting the design, electromagnetic (EM) simulations, analysis, and testing of dielectric lenses, feed antennas, phased arrays, and radomes. This position requires a strong foundation in antenna design, simulation, and testing, and the ability to work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to develop innovative antenna solutions for satellite systems. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Antenna Design & Analysis: Assist in the design and analysis of feed antennas, dielectric lenses, phased arrays, transmit/reflectarrays, and radomes for satellite communications. 
  • EM Simulation & Optimization: Perform electromagnetic simulations using tools like HFSS, CST, or FEKO. Support optimization tasks using multi-objective stochastic optimizers. 
  • Prototype Development & Testing: Assist in the development of antenna prototypes, guide testing, and support performance validation based on simulation and real-world measurements. 
  • Simulation & Measurement Analysis: Analyze simulation results and experimental data using Matlab, Python, or other similar tools. 
  • Collaboration: Work closely with hardware, systems, and RF engineers to integrate antenna designs into larger communication systems. 
  • Documentation & Reporting: Prepare reports and presentations on designs, simulations, measurements, and performance. 

Requirements: 

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in antenna design, modeling, and analysis, with a focus on: 
  • Feed antennas, dielectric lenses, and antenna arrays (e.g., phased arrays, transmitarrays, reflectarrays) 
  • Radome design and optimization 
  • EM Simulation Expertise: Proficiency in using 3D full-wave simulation software such as HFSS, CST, FEKO, or similar. 
  • Programming Skills: Strong experience with Matlab, Python, or similar programming/scripting languages for data analysis and simulation. 
  • RF Testing Knowledge: Familiarity with RF measurement equipment such as signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers. 
  • Operating Systems: Comfortable working in a Linux environment.

  • Transformation Optics: Knowledge of transformation optics and electromagnetic design techniques. 
  • Optimization Algorithms: Familiarity with multi-objective stochastic optimizers for antenna design. 
  • Optical Design: Exposure to optical lens design and gradient index (GRIN) optics. 
  • Automated Testing: Experience with automating RF and electronic testing processes through scripting. 
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating effectively within a team.
