Job Information

Job Title: Business Systems Analyst

Department: Customer Support Services

Reporting Relationship: Manager-Customer Support Services

FLSA Status: Exempt

Grade: K

 

 

General Responsibilities:

Provide transitional and ongoing support of business processes to the SAP/ERP system, including sustainment/system support, system discovery and capabilities assessment, analysis, business process design, data migration, testing, training, system upgrades, reporting and documentation. Act as the liaison between the Customer Support Services and all areas of the company regarding issues that could affect customer billing and quality assurance.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Support SAP/ERP business activities and system issues related to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Provide functional and technical guidance on systems operation, upgrades, testing, and enhancement projects.
  • Investigate, analyze, and resolve support calls from business teams following established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Work with the IT Department support team to support the development and sustenance of the SAP/ERP system.
  • Coordinate new projects and implementations to support existing processes and project rollouts.
  • Assist with training and cross-training existing employees through regular meetings about SAP departmental standards to ensure they are informed of existing and new policies and departmental changes.
  • Incorporate principles of teamwork with all organizational levels in the resolution, completion and follow-up of various responsibilities.

  • Ensure appropriate reporting is set up and utilized to support departmental performance measurements.
  • Work closely with all departments to ensure all information regarding taps and customer billing is entered and adjust processes to meet customer needs better.
  • Perform all work safely in accordance with established safety policies and procedures. Comply with all safety and health standards and guidelines issued by management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.

Certifications

Valid Driver’s License required

Experience:

Five (5) years of customer support experience required. Demonstrated knowledge of Customer Support Services processes with the ability to transition processes to the SAP system. IT background with a solid ability to work with IT systems and provide connections to business processes preferred. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Experience in managing customer expectations and building relationships.
