Talent Acquisition Specialist

Description

This individual will proactively source and help build the Blaze Credit Union employment brand recruiting for our Retail branches! We are looking for an outgoing, creative, and driven individual who enjoys connecting with new people and helping candidates find their dream job. In this role, you will create and implement Talent Acquisition strategies while partnering with our hiring managers to source and hire the best talent for their Retail teams. Hybrid eligible.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Build talent pipelines with high-quality candidates utilizing innovative sourcing strategies to meet business needs and objectives.
  • Partner with hiring managers to identify skillsets and competencies needed and guide them through the recruitment process.
  • Assess candidate qualifications, conduct phone interviews, facilitate a positive candidate experience, provide recommendations and extend offers to the most qualified candidates. 
  • Establish and maintain relationships with local universities, community organizations, and industry partners to help drive our employment brand.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, marketing, or related field or equivalent experience in recruiting.
  • Minimum 5+ years previous experience in Talent Acquisition required.
  • Experience in Financial Industry recruiting preferred.
  • Strong sourcing mentality with the ability to initiate contact and build relationships with candidates.
  • Ability to facilitate full lifecycle recruitment through networking, sourcing, screening, and selection.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Desire to learn and stay current with effective recruiting and selection strategies.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

We are committed to providing salary ranges for all open positions. Please note that the specific compensation for this role will be determined based on your experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity considerations. 


The salary range for this position is:  $31.92 - $40.87. This range reflects the base salary for this position. We have other benefits associated with this position which include: low-cost medical (as low as $20 a paycheck), dental insurance, vision insurance, quarterly bonuses, generous vacation and sick time hours, paid leave options, up to 6% 401k contribution, and tuition reimbursement.
