Construction Manager

We are seeking a Construction Manager to assist with planning, directing, coordinating and budgeting activities for the construction and maintenance of renewable energy infrastructure. You will participate in the conceptual development of a project and oversee its progress through development, scheduling, and implementation so that it can be completed on time and within a budget.

You Will:
  • Work closely with the Development and Engineering departments and the senior management team to supervise high-profile projects and maintain the integrity of all subcontracted projects 
  • Measure and evaluate project logistics, preparing executive level project status reports, track client interactions, and monitor the project on the Procore software platform
  • Understand project financials and work with the Procurement department for approval of material acquisition  
  • Analyze project objectives and ensure the project team is focused on execution 
  • Assess remaining work, select forecast procedures, and calculate estimates-to-complete
  • Develop performance metrics and reports tailored for executive leaders, project managers, and construction supervisors and highlight negative variances/trends, potential issues, and risk status
  • Assist in reviewing project budgets and schedules; assess and control risk
  • Coordinate with the QC team to ensure quality control and commissioning requirements are completed according to project objectives 
  • Communicate with key stakeholders (sales, development, engineering, senior management, crews, and subcontractors) 
  • Identify, manage, and deconflict changes between departments 
  • Assist in the implementation of a safe and clean work environment by establishing and reviewing procedures, rules, and regulations


What You Bring to the Team:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Project Management, or a related field
  • 6+ years of Solar industry experience preferred 
  • 6+ years of logistics and Project Management  experience required
  • Management experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of Helioscope and Procore software platforms
  • Ability to travel to Project Sites in Update New York
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and/or Google Suite (Docs, Slides, Sheets, Calendar)

As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, New York City Salary Transparency Law and California Pay Transparency Law, Catalyze provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado, New York City or California. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado, New York City, NY and California only, the range of starting pay for this role is $90,000 - $120,000.
