Company Description

Continental Automotive is one of the largest automotive manufacturers in the world and a leader in automated driving. Our Allentown, PA location is seeking a highly self-motivated and team-oriented Value Added Services (VAS) Associate Level II to join our Logistics team at our Snowdrift Road location. The ideal candidate has quality driven skills, is dependable and accountable.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities:

  • · Accurately pick and count product from storage locations for production.
  • · Retrieve and put back packaging materials in storage locations.
  • · Utilize SAP system to execute production order put away, HU (handling unit) creation and processing, amend or cancel orders as required.
  • · Report inventory discrepancies to Inventory Control or Warehouse Supervisors.
  • · Understand the purpose of a BOM (bill of materials) and execute task(s) according to the BOM’s instruction.
  • · Prepare staged orders with additional components/packaging needed to prepare orders for VAS assembly.
  • · Print product labeling as required.
  • · Follow all safety and OSHA guidelines to ensure all safety requirements are met.
  • · Perform all other activities as directed by your supervisor.

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • · High School diploma or GED.
  • · Ability to work overtime as needed.
  • · Must be able to read, write and speak English.
  • · Must be able to lift to 25 lbs.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • · Minimum of 3-6 months of warehouse/distribution/manufacturing experience.
  • · SAP and Microsoft Office knowledge a plus
  • · Lean Manufacturing principles a plus
