We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Customer Account Executive to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and capitalizing on opportunities within our existing customer base. Your primary focus will be to expand our footprint with current clients by understanding their needs and offering solutions that enhance their value from our products and services.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Develop and Execute Expansion Strategies: Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within the existing customer base. Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue by selling more to current customers.
Build Strong Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong effective customer relationships to ensure we are adding the most value to their business from our portfolio of supply chain applications.
Identify Customer Needs: Conduct regular check-ins and business reviews with Customers to identify additional needs and opportunities for expansion.
Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with Customer Success, Professional Services, Support, and Data Science to ensure alignment and deliver solutions that meet customer needs.
Achieve Sales Targets: Meet or exceed sales targets and quotas for account expansion by effectively managing and growing existing accounts.
Market and Product Knowledge: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth.
Reporting and Analysis: Track, report and maintain account expansion activities, pipeline status, and forecasted revenue growth within Salesforce.com. Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
Meet and present to customer executives virtually and in-person, negotiate contracts, and pricing with customers.
Travel to customer sites. In addition, you could attend trade shows or partner industry events throughout the year (Modex, Manifest, IWLA, Catalyst, etc.)
QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of proven experience in sales, account management, or a similar role with a focus on expanding business within existing accounts
Value based selling experience with GAP Selling, Complex Selling Customer Centric Selling, Challenger, etc. preferred.
Experience selling SaaS solutions required, experience selling e-commerce, Supply Chain, WMS, or ERP solutions preferred
Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM desired
Working knowledge or experience in supply chain planning and/or execution
Collaborative relationship-building skills with the ability to influence new and existing customers
Leader with superior organization skills, problem-solving ability, and a high “say/do” ratio
Strong communication skills and ability to interact with internal and external customers / executives
Be someone who is flexible, looks to learn, teaches others, and is interested in new technology
Willing to travel as necessary
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
