Are you ready to jumpstart your career as a Heavy Equipment Repair & Maintenance Technician with DISHER in Grand Rapids and Wyoming, Michigan? As part of a tight-knit crew of under 50 employees, you will directly contribute to keeping the mechanical systems and machinery running smoothly. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include maintaining and repairing an array of heavy equipment, from Sennebogen Material Handlers to hydraulic systems. With a focus on collaboration, you'll work closely with other technicians, all while managing tasks through our CMMS R&M work order system. It’s essential to keep the shop organized, and you'll play a critical role in ensuring that tools are in top shape for optimal efficiency. To thrive in this role, you'll need a strong mechanical aptitude as well as the ability to diagnose and repair various equipment. While we prefer candidates with a high school diploma and technical training, what truly matters is your hands-on experience and a growth mindset. You’ll not only utilize your skills in welding and hydraulics, but you'll also engage in ongoing learning as you face new challenges.
