At East Harlem Scholars Academies, we are seeking a passionate and visionary Managing Director of Curriculum & Instruction to lead our educational initiatives in New York City. This role is essential to shaping our academic vision as we strive to increase college graduation rates among East Harlem students. As a vital member of our Senior Management Team, you'll work closely with school leaders, content directors, and dedicated teachers to design and implement a high-quality, culturally responsive curriculum. Your expertise in curriculum design and data-driven instruction will be key to fostering educational equity and driving student achievement. A typical day as the MDCI might include analyzing student performance data, facilitating professional development sessions for educators, and collaborating across teams to enhance instructional practices. Furthermore, we take our commitment to anti-racism work seriously, and your role will require you to promote best practices and ensure our teaching methods reflect this aim. We offer a competitive salary between $150,000 and $175,000, alongside a comprehensive benefits package, all aimed at recognizing the significant impact our staff have on our students’ lives.
