Intern - Environmental

Location:  Northeastern United States.
 
ECC is seeking candidates for an Intern for Environmental ProjectsThe intern will work from Home as their home office but they will also be traveling for field work on occasion. The internship is expected to last from May to July of 2025. This full-time position is responsible for completing project administrative and/or field support work for the Operations team on a project. This position uses some subject-matter knowledge and judgment to complete assignments consisting of numerous steps varying in nature and sequence. The Intern selects from alternative methods and refers problems not solvable by adapting or interpreting substantive guides, manuals, or procedures. Typical duties include assisting in a variety of administrative matters; verifying statistical reports for accuracy and completeness; and compiling information.  
Requirements
  • Communicates well by written and verbal means and may review work by others
  • Proven ability to work effectively with colleagues in multiple locations
  • Skilled in managing large volumes of detailed information accurately
  • Adept at responding to critical requests, limited turnaround times, and demanding deadlines
  • Intermediate knowledge of grammar, punctuation, and spelling
  • Competent in using Microsoft Ole tffice products, email systems, and internet
  • Travel: Must be abo work on-stie at project location and travel as required to meet project needs.
  • Education: This position requires a high school diploma and must be currently enrolled as a second, third, or fourth year student in an accredited university working towards a Bachelor’s degree in a Business discipline, Environmental, Science field or Engineering.
ECC targeted base rate is $20-$22 an hour.
