We are currently recruiting for an International Branch Merchandising Assistant to sit within our European Inventory Control team, based in our London office. You will support the inventory controller to manage in-season inventory for selected categories across all our stores in Europe, as well as our E-Commerce platform to ensure in stock availability is maintained to the highest possible standards.
As an Inventory Control Assistant for UNIQLO Europe, the primary goal is to ensure our customers can purchase what they require in any of our stores or channels in the size and colour they require. You will work closely with the inventory control team to ensure all tasks and analysis are completed on schedule and to keep the day to day operation running smoothly.
What you will be responsible for:
Ensuring the successful completion of all weekly and monthly routine tasks and reporting within the team.
Undertaking relevant analysis and use available reporting to support the inventory controllers.
Ensuring store queries are dealt with in a timely manner
Managing settings for the auto allocation system to ensure company KPI’s are being achieved
Supporting the continuous development of processes and procedures to drive efficiencies in the department.
Skills, Experience and Attributes:
At least 1 years of experience within a stock planning, inventory management or branch merchandising function.
Previous experience within the fashion retail industry is an advantage
Understanding of relevant metrics and KPI’s relating to inventory management
Analytical and numerate with advanced excel skills required
Self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team using own initiative
Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines whilst being adaptable to changing conditions.
Good written and oral communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of the business.
