Job Description

The Global Social & Community team at Gameloft have an exciting opportunity for a Global Community Manager to integrate their team of community experts.  

As a Global Community Manager, reporting to the Global Social Brand Lead, you will play a key role in overseeing the content & engagement strategies across all our official Gameloft channels. As such, you will be fostering the growth of our global community by developing the most appealing & entertaining content plans, actively engaging with followers on all our key networks, creating community events & streams - ultimately bringing our global brand to life in the most relatable way. Being one of the public faces of Gameloft, you will also be collaborating with key teams across all our studios. Your passion for gaming and in-depth knowledge of the digital content landscape will drive growth, visibility, and engagement with our brand worldwide.

PASSION is key! For this position, we expect you to be an experienced content creator & have a deep understanding of the ins-&-outs of gaming communities.

Channel strategy & community management – 50%:

  • Participate in shaping the social media & community strategy for our global accounts, including channel strategy, tone of voice, evergreen content approach & engagement strategy.
  • Build & implement the editorial calendar on a monthly basis, coordinating with key stakeholders in order to produce high-quality content & experiences for Gameloft communities.
  • Ensuring that the Gameloft communities have first-hand access to all the key highlights across our portfolio of games & services; creating bridges between our global networks & our many game & studio communities.
  • Own the content & assets creation process in order to produce a consistent flow of evergreen content for each of the channels you are responsible for, & when necessary, propose ways to optimize the content creation process to ensure a positive ROI
  • Track & analyze community & content performance KPIs, & ensure steady progression quarter-onto-quarter on the channels you are responsible for.

Campaign & community activation development – 20%:

  • Ideate, plan & execute community-focused activations & tentpole campaigns to support our company’s communication goals.
  • Track & analyze the performance of each campaign & share learnings in order to continuously improve upcoming campaigns.
  • Collaborate with other key stakeholders (communications, game production, game community teams, CMI etc.) in order to ideate & amplify community-focused activations.

Community engagement & moderation – 20%:

  • Develop a conversational approach on the channels you are responsible for, to build a strong bond with key cohorts of players & followers.
  • Set community performance targets in terms of: growth, engagement, overall coverage, reply times, community Csat, overall sentiment, community retention metrics & utilize tools & processes at hand in order to continuously improve performance.
  • Ensuring the validity & use of all frameworks guaranteeing community safety, crisis management, customer satisfaction & game/update technical issues coverage across the channels you are responsible for.
  • Analyzing conversations & identifying key insights from the community in order to improve content & community experiences on the channels you are responsible for.
  • Develop & amplify UGC strategies.

Planning, Project Management, social media toolstack – 10%:

  • Utilize all available tools & resources at hand in order to analyze the impact of your content & community plans ; propose improvements, opportunities & challenges. 
  • Conduct benchmarks & trends observations: be a proactive source of ideation for the Global Social & Community team.

Profile & Skills

  • Min. 2 to 4 years of experience in a similar position; with proven track record in animating social networks; ideally live content creation
  • A passion for gaming & gaming experiences of all kinds
  • Experience in creating content for social media (experience in live content creation such as livestreams or podcasts is a plus). Content editing skills using tools such as CapCut, Canva, etc.is required
  • Analytical mind & KPI driven
  • Understanding of community KPIs & how to track them
  • Understanding of social media networks & how they are used by gamers
  • Experience on community & social media toolstack (e.g publishing tools such as Brandwatch, social listening tools such as Talkwalker, content creation tools such as Canva, Photoshop etc.)
  • Relationships-driven: Build credible & trusting relationships in a fast-paced environment with a broad range of colleagues & collaborators across the company & the world
  • Fluent in English, both written & spoken
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced & international environment
  • Positive energy, team spirit & a zest of fun are a must.
