Commercial Development Manager

Would you like to play a role in advancing the commercial strategy, planning, and delivery of a MedTech company dedicated to "Bringing People Closer" through technology? If so, join our global Commercial Insights & Planning team, where we generate valuable end-user and customer insights and facilitate commercial growth projects and initiatives across our diverse markets worldwide.

The Team you’ll be a part of

You will be part of our Commercial Insights and Planning team, based out of our headquarters in Ballerup, DK. We are a diverse, multinational, and cross-functional team, comprising roles such as customer researchers, data scientists, and commercial project managers. We combine our unique perspectives and expertise to generate deep insights and leverage these to support commercial growth.

As a Commercial Development Manager, you will be instrumental in enabling global and local commercial teams to leverage our insights for informed decision-making and prioritization.

Together, we strive to cultivate a unified team distinguished by trust, constructive discussions, accountability, and strong performance.

How you’ll contribute

As our new Commercial Development Manager, you will collaborate closely with global and local commercial teams worldwide (sales, marketing, customer care, etc.) to move commercial development and growth forward within GN Hearing.

You will:

  • Oversee significant global commercial initiatives, such as segmentation and targeting, strategic account management, and commercial planning

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to local commercial teams and management, assisting them in fulfilling their commercial priorities (e.g., launching innovative hearing aids, increasing e-commerce adoption, and developing effective commercial strategies)

  • Derive commercially relevant and actionable end-user and customer insights from a wide range of qualitative and quantitative data sources (ERP, CRM, Google Analytics, e-commerce, social media, etc.)

  • Facilitate the rollout and adoption of data-driven insights and tools by creating clear use cases and collaborating with global and local commercial teams to integrate them into their planning and implementation

  • Support the enhancement, digitalization, and automation of commercial processes

To perform well in the role, we imagine that you:

  • Have several years of experience in commercial or business development, experience in management consulting or a large global corporation is an asset.

  • Are effective at stakeholder management, with the capacity to encourage teamwork among diverse groups

  • Possess advanced project management skills, and can apply those to both international and cross-functional projects alike

  • Are data-driven, commercially minded, motivated, self-driven, and a strong problem-solver.

  • Are willing to work closely with local commercial teams worldwide and travel up to 30 days per year

At GN we pride ourselves on encouraging flexible working whenever possible. We trust our people to get the job done, to know when in-person collaboration is better than hybrid, and to be present when it's needed most.

We encourage you to apply

Even if you don’t match all the above-mentioned skills, we welcome your application if you think you have transferrable skills. We highly value a mindset and motivation that align with our core values, to not only ensure growth for you, but for your team and the wider GN organization as well.

How to apply?

Use the ‘APPLY’ link no later than April 30th. Applications are assessed continuously, so don’t wait to send yours.
