If you’re passionate about empowering young minds and fostering their independence, self-confidence, and an enduring love of learning, then this part-time position from 2 PM to 6 PM could be the perfect fit for you. As an Assistant Teacher (or Guide, as we affectionately call them), you will work within a mixed-age class of Infants, Toddlers, and Preschool children, up to age 6, while also engaging with elementary-aged students in a nurturing Montessori environment. Your role will be to support each child’s unique learning journey—helping them explore a carefully prepared environment that encourages independence and captivates their curiosity. You’ll facilitate individual and small-group lessons, guiding children through activities, and sparking their interests. Personal connections and fostering a collaborative community are central to our mission. We seek someone adaptable, enthusiastic, and ready to observe and respond to the developing needs of each child. Experience working with children ages 0-6 is desired.
