A Brief Overview
The Financial Analyst II (FA) compiles and prepares a variety of standard and ad hoc reports and analyses. The FA supports multiple areas of the supply chain by providing insights along with key metric analyses that supports strategic business decisions. They will provide support with month-end close, short-term and long-term budgeting, forecasting and various forms of financial analysis to support the business.
What you will do
Gather, prepare, distribute and maintain standard and ad-hoc reports and analyses. Verify and reconcile financial data.
Prepares medium complex level scenarios for possible future financial conditions. Develops assumptions for business volumes based on the current plan and alternative strategies and conducts various financial analyses.
Support with the preparation of the annual budget, incorporating forecasts and volume projections.
Conducts cost/benefit analysis and/or breakeven analysis for various projects as assigned.
Performs month-end closing and distribution of monthly financial statements and detailed financial statement analyses, including discussions on various issues.
Performs moderately complex ad-hoc analyses with collaborative support.
What you will need
Bachelor's Degree Required
1-3 years of relevant experience Required
Corporate accounting or finance experience Required
Financial retail experience preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Analytical Skills: Proficiency in collecting, processing, and interpreting large sets of data
Initiative: Ability to proactively identify opportunities and take action without waiting for direction
Attention to Detail: Ability to meticulously analyze data and ensure accuracy in all tasks
Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively within a team to achieve common goals
