Pay: Starting base and a percent of commission. 60k-100k is the earning potential.

Schedule: May vary either Monday- Friday 8:30-5:30 or Tue-Saturday. (Saturday hours would be 8am to 4pm)

We are currently seeking an ambitious, high-performing Sales Specialist who excels in upselling and is driven to deliver outstanding results. We're seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and high-performing BMW Parts Advisor to join our dynamic team.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Must be able to proactively engage with customers, building strong relationships to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.

  • Ability to identify and create upselling opportunities by understanding customer needs and recommending relevant parts and services.

  • Provide excellent communication and customer service skills by delivering excellent customer service, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention

  • Eager to meet and exceed sales targets, particularly in upselling and increasing the average order value.

  • Ability to provide feedback and insights to the management team to improve sales strategies and customer experience

  • Experience in automotive parts advisory or a sales role, preferably with a premium brand like BMW. A passion for automobiles and the BMW brand is preferred.

  • Computer savvy with the ability to use inventory management systems.

  • Previous experience in dealership sales or automotive parts department is an advantage. We would encourage those in aftermarket sales to apply as well as we could train the right candidate into this positon.

Responsibilities

You will be the go-to expert for all BMW parts inquiries, playing a vital role in our parts department. As a High-Performance Parts Advisor, you will primarily assist our customers with selecting and sourcing the best performance parts for their vehicles. You will provide expert advice, ensuring that every customer leaves with the right components to enhance their Ultimate Driving Machine. The Parts Advisors work closely with both our sales team and warehouse to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders.

  • Provide expert advice on high-performance automotive parts and accessories. Upselling products will be a crucial focus in this role

  • Assist customers with product selection based on their specific needs and vehicle specifications

  • Research and source high-performance parts, ensuring optimal quality and performance

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty

  • Answer telephone and greet customers & vendors in a friendly and professional manner.

  • Interact with the Service Team to coordinate parts for vehicle repair and service.

  • Order parts from suppliers based on Service Department and customer requests.

  • Receive, unpack, and store parts in appropriate storage areas so they are readily available when needed.

  • Takes inventory, maintain records of goods received and keeps perpetual inventory controls.

  • Receive payment or obtain credit authorization.

  • Process core returns, parts warranties and parts returns as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Previous parts advisor or sales experience is required

  • Maintain clean and professional appearance

  • CDK experience preferred

  • BMW experience preferred

  • Understand basic automotive components and systems

  • Automotive dealership service experience is a plus

  • Any automotive certifications is a plus

  • Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence
