Looking for experienced Facilities Control Systems Engineers to be part of the design, construction, commissioning, and sustaining operations for our new innovative high volume manufacturing Fab and existing technology development fab in Boise, ID. The Facilities Controls Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., is responsible for working in a team environment with parallel engineering subject areas, to analyze operational efficiency activities, identify cost effective sustaining and manufacturing improvements and provide design input on projects. Will provide recommendations for operations, maintenance and solving of all control, instrumentation, SCADA, automation, and fire alarm systems. This position works directly with the operations team technicians and outsourced vendor maintenance teams supervising systems parameters via intelligent systems such as SPC/IOT and SCADA, ensuring they are running within specifications. Collaborate with IT to ensure servers and communications backbone is accurately maintained and reliable. Tracks and maintains PLC programs, I/O lists and point assignments. This posting requires a hard work ethic and diligent attention to detail. The Facilities Controls Engineer must have the pertinent communication skills that enable the coordination with other system owners, maintenance crews and construction trades to drive projects and daily tasks. Will be responsible to develop operations and maintenance documentation and connect with vendors providing services. Provides design engineering input for existing system modification, upgrades, and new equipment installations.
