About Paired

At Paired, we’re on a mission to help romantic couples stay in love. So we created a fun, safe space for couples to explore their relationship and grow together. Backed by expert advice and cutting-edge research, our app delivers engaging questions, games, and quizzes that improve key relationship skills in just minutes each day.

And it works. Our app is the #1 couples app globally with +12M downloads, +200,000 daily active users, and more than £5M of fundraising to date. We’ve won multiple awards from Apple and Google, recognising us for our innovative approach to romantic relationship health.

Although we are a remote-first team hiring in the UK and Spain, keeping our employees connected remains extremely important. To bring everyone together, we meet three times a year at various European locations for focused co-working weeks and dynamic team-building activities.

  • Extensive experience in product design for mobile applications with a focus on subscription-based apps
  • Professional background in supporting the growth and scaling phase of at least one Tech company, ideally within industries such as femtech, self-improvement, education, health & fitness, and related fields
  • Strong portfolio showcasing case studies that demonstrate great product thinking, user experience, interaction, and visual design skills, a clear process and results
  • Proven ability to work on very broadly defined, loose concepts, as well as narrowly defined, tactical features
  • Deep knowledge of best practices for information architecture, navigation, UX, and UI design
  • Experience working in fast-paced, cross-functional product teams, with the ability to quickly adapt and respond to change
  • Proactive self-starter who brings original ideas and fresh approaches to design challenges
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (we use Figma predominantly) with a healthy interest in learning new tools
  • Good understanding of Design Systems and A11Y, to ensure consistency, scalability, and inclusivity
  • Ability to use data and user research to understand user needs, and gather insights to justify and support design decisions
  • Must reside in the UK or Spain and have the legal right to work there (we are unable to provide visa sponsorship)
  • Must share a portfolio, see our hints below
