Job Purpose:
- To oversee and manage a team of employees within a property management setting in the downtown area. The Supervisor is responsible for achieving operational efficiency, maintaining property standards, and contributing to a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of assigned staff, including scheduling, task assignment, and performance monitoring.
- Provide training, coaching, and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and development.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and address performance issues in a timely and constructive manner.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations within the team.
- Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally, striving for excellent customer service.
- Oversee property maintenance and upkeep, coordinating with maintenance staff or vendors as needed.
- Inspect properties regularly to identify and address potential issues, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Manage and track budgets related to operational expenses, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on team performance, property conditions, and other relevant metrics.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as leasing, accounting, and marketing, to ensure smooth operations.
- Stay informed about industry best practices and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Enforce property rules and regulations, addressing violations appropriately and professionally.

Required Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Associate's degree preferred.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive supervisory experience, preferably in a property management setting.
- Demonstrated experience in managing a team of 5 or more employees, including performance management, coaching, and development.
- Proven track record of successfully managing budgets, expenses, and financial reporting.
- Experience in developing and implementing operational policies and procedures.
- Strong experience in vendor management and contract negotiation.
- Experience with property management software and systems.
- Experience in handling customer relations and resolving customer issues.
- Experience in conducting property inspections and ensuring compliance with regulations.
