We are committed to supporting your success in both your professional and personal lives.Position OverviewQinetiQ US is seeking a Program Security Representative to support a DoD client in Chantilly, VA. The highly-motivated candidate will be providing leadership and guidance through knowledge, experience, and their ability to effectively provide OPSEC and Program and Protection in support of a Research, Development, Test & Evaluation (RDT&E) office.Responsibilities• The OPSEC and Program Protection Analyst primary function is to provide multi-discipline security support for the RDT&E's Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), Special Access Program (SAP), and/or collateral programs across the entire portfolio.• Provide daily multi-discipline analysis for SCI, SAP, and collateral activities.• Develop and maintain the office's OPSEC and Program Protection Projects, work with PSRs and program teams to develop OPSEC plans for test and evaluation events• Apply analytical methodologies to existing programs to review, and revisit if necessary, their protection needs to remain consistent with changes in diplomatic, political, and military environments• Work with individual program management personnel to assist in analyzing and developing solutions to unique or difficult CI-related issues.• Articulate, create, develop, coordinate, and manage program protection strategies to support Government programs and technology thrust areas including but not limited to:• Advanced materials• Aeronautics• Armaments and energetic materials• Autonomy• Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning• Cyber and electronic warfare• Directed energy• Ground systems• Guidance, navigation, and vehicle control• Information operations• Manufacturing and fabrication• Maritime systems• Nuclear systems• Position, navigation, and timing• Remote sensing• Signature control (Low Observable (LO) / Counter-Low Observable (CLO))• Space systems / space control• Weapons effects and countermeasures• Identify vulnerabilities of Government programs and technology thrust areas; collaborate with Government security staff to assemble information and perform research and analysis of intelligence, CI, and open source information to identify threats, susceptibilities, and vulnerabilities of Government programs and technology thrust areas.• Develop innovative and proactive analytical methodologies; refine existing program protection analytical methodologies to meet evolving program needs.• Work closely with Government PM(s), SETA staff, PSOs, PSRs, and External Relations personnel, to develop and maintain currency of Essential Elements of Friendly Information (EEFI) for the Government and its programs to preclude inadvertent public release/disclosure of critical or sensitive information• Coordinate the execution of an annual OPSEC assessment. An OPSEC assessment is an intensive application of the OPSEC process to an existing operation or activity by a multidisciplinary team of experts.
