We're looking for a Junior Solutions Architect to join our Applications & Analytics team and support development of custom solutions for the internal Commercial team.

Responsibilities:

Designing, developing, and optimizing software applications and infrastructure.
Collaborating with development team and stakeholders to ensure that the solutions built meet user requirements and are scalable, reliable, and maintainable.
Managing the SDLC, including overseeing the development process from start to finish, ensuring that it follows established standards and best practices.
Enforcing compliance with security and performance standards, ensuring that the software is secure and protected against potential security breaches.

Requirements:

Proficiency in Python, JS, HTML, and CSS.
Proficiency in source control, specifically using Git and GitHub.
Proficiency in software testing (unit and integration).
Familiarity with software and architecture design patterns.
Experience with UI/UX development for customer satisfaction.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) are essential to communicate effectively with other members of the team, stakeholders, and clients to ensure that the application meets the client’s requirements.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field (professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).

Nice-to-have's:

Familiarity with Linux systems
(setup, permission control, remote access, CRON jobs, etc.)
Familiarity with cloud service providers and their offerings.
Familiarity with modern security practices such as data encryption, secure data transmission, access control, and least privilege.
Familiarity with the setup and administration of webservers (Apache2, Uvicorn, etc.)
