The Pratt & Whitney Engineering Human Resources team is seeking a high-energy self-starter to drive key human resources initiatives and promote an inspiring culture in our Materials and Process Engineering (MPE) and Aero Thermal Fluid (ATF) organizations. The HR Partner in this role will provide strategic HR guidance for leaders and employees ranging across multiple Engineering disciplines and different locations such as East Hartford, CT and West Palm Beach, FL. There will also be the opportunity for this HR Partner to coordinate key projects for the broader Engineering organization.
What Will You Do
Join our dynamic Engineering HR team as a strategic partner, contributing to the success of our Materials and Process Engineering (MPE) and Aero Thermal Fluid (ATF) organizations. In this impactful role, you'll drive HR initiatives that foster a high-performing and engaged workforce.
Your Key Contributions:
Strategic Business Partnership: Collaborate closely with engineering leadership to align HR programs with business objectives, driving tangible results and supporting organizational growth.
Comprehensive HR Program Execution: Deliver exceptional HR services for MPE and ATF, encompassing talent acquisition, retention, development, engagement, performance management, compensation planning, and employee relations.
Employee Relations Expertise: Provide expert coaching and guidance to leaders and employees on navigating and resolving employee relations matters effectively.
Employee Advocacy and Support: Serve as a trusted resource for HR-related inquiries from all levels of employees, collaborating with Centers of Expertise (COEs) to deliver comprehensive solutions.
Succession Planning and Talent Development: Actively participate in succession planning initiatives, ensuring a robust talent pipeline to meet current and future organizational needs.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Consult with key leaders and stakeholders to understand their HR needs and develop tailored solutions.
Strategic Project Leadership: Contribute to the ongoing development and success of the Engineering HR team through strategic project work, driving innovation and process improvement.
Change Agent and Influencer: Proactively identify opportunities for improvement, challenge the status quo, and effectively influence stakeholders while managing competing priorities.
Qualifications You Must Have
Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of progressively responsible Human Resources experience

Qualifications We Prefer
Advanced degree (MBA, MS, MA) in Human Resources or a related field.
Five years of progressively responsible Human Resources experience, particularly if accompanied by a Master's degree.
Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and make sound, data-driven decisions.
Proactive and creative approach to problem-solving, with the ability to develop clear and concise written and verbal communications.
Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail, enabling accurate data interpretation and reporting.
Proven ability to develop and implement creative solutions to complex workplace challenges.
Demonstrated sound judgment and professional maturity in handling sensitive and confidential information.
Proven ability to effectively manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, while maintaining a strong client focus.
Experience in project management, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
Working knowledge of Workday HRIS

This role is: Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. This means that responsibilities of the job need to be performed onsite on a regular basis.
The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
