HR Director, EMEA

Director of HR, EMEA Enterprise Sales & EMEA Region (London-based)

What is the key purpose of a Director of HR

This is a senior regional HR leadership role within Taboola’s Global People team, designed to partner closely with the VP of Sales – EMEA, the Director of HR for Global Sales, and regional leadership across the EMEA business. As Director, HR, EMEA Enterprise Sales & EMEA Region, you will lead and deliver the people strategy for our Enterprise Sales organisation (including Israel), while also owning HR support and compliance across the broader EMEA region.

Embedded within both the EMEA Sales Leadership Team and the Regional Management Team, this role plays a critical part in enabling commercial success through high-impact people practices — including workforce planning, performance, organisational design, and employee engagement.

Reporting to the Director of HR for Global Sales, you will also manage a team of two HR Coordinators and an EMEA Benefits Advisor, driving scalable HR operations while navigating the complexity of local labour laws, hybrid working models, and cultural diversity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the HR roadmap for EMEA Enterprise Sales, ensuring alignment with both global and regional business priorities
  • Serve as a strategic partner to the VP of Sales – EMEA and regional leadership on talent planning, capability building, and organisation design
  • Lead core HR functions including performance management, succession planning, total rewards, and employee development
  • Oversee generalist HR support for the EMEA region, ensuring compliance with regional labour laws and consistent application of policies
  • Act as the point of escalation for complex employee relations issues, advising HRBPs and business leaders globally on EMEA-specific risks and resolutions
  • Use people data to provide actionable insights, improve workforce decision-making, and drive business outcomes
  • Shape and maintain regional people policies, including hybrid work, wellbeing, and employee engagement frameworks
  • Oversee pensions and benefits offerings across EMEA, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with local legislation
  • Coach and develop your team to deliver consistent, high-quality HR support across multiple countries
  • Act as a visible and trusted advisor to EMEA employees and managers, ensuring accessibility and partnership in line with Taboola’s hybrid policy (minimum 3 days/week in-office or per company policy)

Our Ideal Candidate Has

  • Significant experience in senior HR business partnering roles, ideally within matrixed or high-growth tech organisations
  • Expertise in EMEA labour law, employee relations, and regional compliance
  • Proven experience advising senior commercial leaders and driving organisational design and transformation initiatives
  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing HR teams in multi-country environments
  • Commercial acumen and analytical capability to link people strategies to business performance
  • Confidence working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with changing priorities
  • A collaborative, people-first mindset with a passion for building inclusive and engaging workplace cultures
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across all levels of the organisation
