What the role is
The Business Development & Programme Facilitator (Academic Staff) plays a dual role in driving the growth of Continuing Education and Training (CET) programs and contributing to the academic oversight of training courses. This includes promoting CET offerings, managing partnerships, and serving as a unit leader to oversee the development and delivery of training programs. The role is instrumental in aligning business development strategies with high-quality learner outcomes and organizational goals.

What you will be working on

Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Enrolment Growth
• Promote CET programs to potential learners and organizations to achieve enrolment and revenue targets.
• Identify and engage with new partners, clients, and markets to expand the reach of CET programs.
• Develop and execute targeted campaigns to drive enrolment growth for courses.
2. Academic Leadership & Course Delivery.

• Serve as a Unit Leader for assigned training programs, ensuring their quality, relevance, and alignment with industry needs.
• Oversee the development, review, and enhancement of course content in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
• Monitor and evaluate program delivery to ensure learner satisfaction and successful outcomes.
3. Partnerships & Relationship Management
• Establish and nurture strong relationships with industry partners, schools, and internal stakeholders to identify collaboration opportunities.
• Work closely with school teams to create synergies that support both business and academic objectives.
4. Market Research & Program Development
• Conduct market research to identify industry trends and learner needs, using insights to shape new program offerings.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external experts to develop innovative, market-driven training programs.
5. Operational Support
• Plan and execute lifelong learning events, industry outreach initiatives, and partner meetings.
• Maintain accurate records of business development and academic activities, preparing reports for management.

What we are looking for
• Relevant qualifications in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in business development, program management, or a related field, preferably in the education or training sector.
• Academic or training experience, including curriculum development and delivery, is highly preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and CET landscapes in Singapore is preferred.
