Technical Writer

Position Overview:

The Technical Writer will be responsible for creating clear, accurate, and engaging documentation that supports our technology and operations. You will work closely with engineering, product, and operations teams to develop user manuals, technical specifications, service procedures, knowledge base articles, and training materials. Your work will help ensure internal teams and customers can effectively operate and maintain our robotic systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, edit, and maintain a range of technical documentation including installation guides, service manuals, operating procedures, training materials, and knowledge base content.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts across engineering, operations, and product teams to gather technical information.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly language.
  • Ensure documentation adheres to brand, formatting, and quality standards.
  • Maintain version control and documentation change history.
  • Support the development of documentation for new product releases and service updates.
  • Help structure and organize internal documentation systems for easier access and usability.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in technical writing, preferably in a technology, engineering, or robotics-related environment.
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical information into accessible content for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Familiarity with content management systems and documentation tools such as Confluence.
  • Experience working with engineering drawings, schematics, or product specs is a plus.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple documentation projects simultaneously.
