Role Overview

Sodexo Live's! Airport Lounge Segment has an opportunity for a Food & Beverage Operations Manager at Miami International Airport (MIA).  Our airport lounges are dedicated spaces for passengers to relax and rejuvenate while awaiting their next adventure. Sodexo Live! provides hospitality services to airport lounges, stadiums, arenas, convention and conference centers, zoos, museums, and more. SodexoMagic is the joint venture partnership between NBA Hall of Famer, Earvin “Magic” Johnson, and Sodexo. What You'll Do

  • have oversight of daily food operations and deliver a high-quality product;
  • achieve company and client financial targets and goals;
  • develop and maintain client and customer relationships;
  • motivate, coach, mentor and develop frontline (hourly) staff; and/or
  • ensure Sodexo standards are met to include compliance with company food and physical safety programs.

Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience. What You Bring

  • previous food and beverage experience within hotels, restaurants or similar upscale hospitality venue;
  • a work history demonstrating strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization;
  • possess the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and exhibit a passion for a high-level of customer service;
  • the ability to work a flexible schedule that includes closing shifts and adjustable day shifts as needed (including weekends and holidays);
  • exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed; and/or
  • demonstrate working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems as well as menu graphics programs.
  • seeking bilingual candidates: the ability to communicate in Spanish will be helpful in managing this workforce.
