The Red Bull Athlete Performance Center (APC) is an accelerator that promotes athletes' achievements. The Athlete Operations Coordinator plays a crucial role in enhancing the athlete experience and their results at the APC. This position acts as an important connection between the athletes and our interdisciplinary team, meticulously handling and clearly communicating each athlete's profile and schedule. The aim is to provide a smooth program that extends the limits of human performance.
ATHLETE SCHEDULING & LOGISTICS
Coordinate the complete experience for world-class athletes visiting APC LA, ensuring a smooth and exceptional journey.
Master our internal operations systems and tools to efficiently manage athlete visits.
Build and maintain trust with athletes and stakeholders, gather detailed information about their specific needs, and communicate it effectively to maximize the impact and quality of each visit.
Implement operating procedures for the athlete intake process and visit schedule, offering a consistent APC experience.
Assist in weekly team meetings to ensure readiness for upcoming athlete visits.
Identify and manage external resources to enhance the athlete's experience or training program.
Oversee the Athlete House calendar, communicate essential information, and ensure compliance with Red Bull policies while coordinating seamlessly.
COMMUNICATION LIAISON
Represent and communicate on behalf of the APC to athletes and their stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate dissemination of information regarding services and scheduling.
Participate in internal communications to keep staff informed about upcoming visits and any special requirements of visiting athletes.
Ensure all external communications reflect the center’s commitment to excellence, passion, and confidentiality. Coordinate and deliver engaging facility tours that inform and inspire athletes, guests, and key stakeholders, ultimately contributing to business growth.
SERVICE EXCELLENCE
Create a welcoming and positive environment that fosters a culture wherein the athletes' experiences are professional, productive, and exceed expectations.
Oversee the daily operations necessary to provide an exceptional experience for the athletes, which may include managing tasks related to the APC facility or the Athlete House.
Promptly and efficiently address any issues or concerns that arise during the athletes' visits.
Be available after hours if needed to assist athletes staying at the Athlete House or to attend to APC facility requirements.
Consistently seek feedback and opportunities for improvement to enhance service delivery and athlete satisfaction.
TEAM PROJECTS
Execute tasks that enhance and drive the APC team’s goals and priorities, including organizing logistics for off-site events, team events, and All Hands meetings.
Support the team’s priority projects that contribute to driving the business plan forward.
3+ years of professional experience in a corporate environment
Exceptional customer service orientation
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Resilient, flexible, and able to adapt quickly to changing plans
Proactive approach and strong determination to achieve goals
Bachelor's degree preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Suite applications, including MS Teams, OneDrive, Excel, and Word
Adheres to APC guiding principles of collaboration, passion, integrity, and curiosity
This position is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals who are currently authorized to work in the United States on a valid visa.
The base salary range for this position is $51,200 to $76,800 + cash incentives. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
