Childcare Center Director | Charleston

The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy is seeking a Preschool Director for our center on NAD Road.

If you’re passionate about positively impacting the lives of others in the world of early childhood education, the Center Director role may be for you.


Salary range: $40,000-$60,000 per year
, based on experience, education and credentials. Plus quarterly bonus potential and FREE childcare.


Daycare Director Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations of childcare school in accordance with state licensing and company policies, including administrative, operational, financial, and logistical functions of the facility.
  • Hire, engage, and develop a supportive team of caregivers and educators.
  • Partner with families to provide the best care and education for their children.
  • Oversee the implementation of our curriculum, including developmentally-appropriate play and classroom environments.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, and the community.
  • Work closely with the Regional Director and corporate supports to balance high quality and financial stability.
  • Minimum of an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience managing a childcare center- 1 year required.
  • Proficient computer skills in a variety of business related programs, including Microsoft Office.
