Daycare Float Teacher

Daycare Teacher (Part or Full Time) | North Charleston

We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Daycare Helper to join our team. As a Daycare Helper, you will play a vital role in assisting teachers in the classroom and/or shuttling children to/from school.

Pay rate of $16- $21 per hour

Pay rate is determined by relevant education and experience. Candidates with a high school diploma and limited experience will be paid at the lower end of the range. Candidates with ECD 101 to an associate’s degree in early childhood education or a related field may be paid mid-range. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree or higher in early childhood education or a related field and applicable experience may be paid at the higher end of the range.

Assistant Teacher Duties:

  • Assists the teacher in supervising children to ensure safety.
  • Builds relationships with the children through active play.
  • Light classroom cleaning duties.

  • Proof of High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 30 days of experience working at a licensed childcare center required.
