Payroll Specialist - Hybrid

About The RoleIn this role, you will be responsible for processing the biweekly payroll for 2,600 multi-state employees, including International Assignees and International Transfers. This role involves data entry, auditing, reconciliation of the payroll, issuing W2s/W2Cs, processing all garnishments and year-end processes. The Payroll Specialist will ensure the payroll is processed in compliance with all federal, state and local laws in addition to all Swiss Re policies and procedures. You will collaborate with many different internal and external partners and continually maintain strict adherence to compliance standards and tax rules.In Addition To The Above, You Will• Complete requests for funding and reconcile funding requests to PR/GL file to bank account• Apply Employment Tax laws to US Payroll and payment/filing procedures• Process payroll for International Assignees, International Transfers and Non-Resident Aliens with a basic understanding of tax implications and necessary tax forms• Respond timely to tickets with excellent customer service• Ensure W2s are accurate and delivered timely• Participate and run projects and changes• Backup for Canadian Payroll processing/ Business Continuity for additional countries payrollsAbout The TeamWe are a dedicated team of payroll professionals who work collaboratively to ensure all processes are executed with 100% accuracy and efficiency. In addition, you have strong organizational and time management skills, and you understand prioritization.Must Have• Comfortable working with numbers and good analytical skills• Ability to work independently under tight schedules• Experience with MS suite• High School Diploma required; College preferred• SpanishNice To Have• Experience with an outsourced payroll and in managing outsourcing vendor teams• Experience in SAP Payroll and SuccessFactors preferred• Pivot tables & VLOOKUP preferred• Working knowledge of other languages is a plus• Experience with payroll tax filingsOur company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office three days per week.This role is not eligible for either relocation assistance or visa sponsorship.The estimated base salary range for this position is $76,000 to $126,000. The specific salary offered for this, or any given role will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to job location, scope of role, qualifications, complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent, experience, education, and employer budget.
