Role Summary/Purpose:
We are seeking an AVP, Digital Product Owner – Servicing Communications to manage and enhance the communication strategies that support customers through digital channels such as email, SMS, and web platforms. Reporting to the VP, Digital Communications, the ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders such as product managers, marketing teams and developers within an agile team to manage project requests for new servicing emails and SMS communications.

Essential Responsibilities:
Define and communicate the product vision and strategy for consumer servicing communications
Work closely with development teams to define user stories, acceptance criteria, and release plans
Ensure the product backlog is well-defined, prioritized, and aligned with the product strategy
Develop detailed requirements through Jira stories and features and ensure they are clearly understood by relevant teams
Manage and communicate timelines for multiple projects and requests through the development, testing, approval, and release processes
Oversee the product development process, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of servicing communications
Identify and manage dependencies and competing priorities
Plan and prioritize future roadmap for servicing communications
Propose process improvement initiatives to drive faster and more effective campaign management
Serve as the primary communication point to project requestors and stakeholders, collecting requirements and proactively reporting out status updates
Mitigate roadblocks to achieving sprint and release goals
Ensure adherence of all compliance and corporate governance policies throughout the implementation
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or, in lieu of a degree, a high school diploma / GED and 6+ years of Product / Project Management experience in the credit card, financial services, or technology industries
A minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner of a SAFe Agile team
Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
Desired Characteristics:
Action oriented – create an environment to leverage agile methodology and deliver continuous benefit to the business teams during the project
Proven experience in problem solving and negotiated solution
Experience with Jira and Jira Align for agile project management
Strong process and project management skills with successful experience influencing and leading cross functional teams
Excellent written communication skills
Self-motivated, creative, strong initiative, and flexible. Ability to drive programs and campaigns in a team environment
Consumer finance and/or retail marketing experience with an understanding of core financial drivers
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects
Strong communication skills needed to exchange complex information and interface with cross functional teams both internally and externally
Grade/Level: 11
The salary range for this position is 90,000.00 - 155,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.
Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.
Eligibility Requirements:
You must be 18 years or older
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
