Campaign Management: Plan, design, and execute Paid Search campaigns, overseeing campaign launches, including keyword and ad text creation/expansion, ensuring proper tracking setup, and providing instructions for all tools and engines. Consistently seek out opportunities for innovation and growth.
Performance Tracking & Optimization: Oversee junior team members’ daily utilization of reporting, analytics, and trend tools. Assist with forecasting. Implement and manage negative keyword strategy, website & category exclusions, URL audits, keyword/ad text expansion, conflicting negatives, and various Display, Video, and hybrid campaign types (PMAX / Demand Gen).
Data Analysis & Reporting: Track and monitor campaign results regularly, including daily/weekly/quarterly/yearly reporting, Quarterly Business Reviews, and End-of-Year analysis
Collaboration: Effectively communicate insights across disciplines, fostering holistic search performance (ie: across Organic, Paid Social, etc.). Mentor and effectively delegate tasks and responsibilities to junior team members, fostering their growth and development. Actively seek opportunities for mentorship, while “managing up” as necessary
Client Communication: Independently communicate with clients through email or phone, fostering strong working relationships, and effectively managing their expectations.
5-7 years of experience in Paid Search demonstrating in-depth expertise in campaign management and optimization with a proven track record in effectively managing substantial monthly campaign budgets ($250K+)
Experience and proficiency in utilizing competitive reporting tools such as SpyFu, Adthena, and/or Auction Insights, demonstrating an analytical approach to campaign insights and strategy refinement.
Possession of Google Ads Search Certification, showcasing proficiency and commitment to industry-standard practices. Additional relevant certifications are considered advantageous (namely Google Display, Video, App, and/or Shopping).
Practical experience and proficiency in utilizing Paid Search platforms (such as Search Ads 360 or Skai) highlighting a comprehensive understanding of diverse advertising tools and platforms
Practical experience and proficiency in leveraging Google Analytics, showcasing a robust understanding of web analytics tools and data-driven decision-making.
Experience managing and overseeing campaign types beyond Paid Search, including PMAX (additional advantage if experienced with Display, Video, App, Shopping, Demand Gen, etc.)
Demonstrated success analyzing data and using analytics tools to drive marketing decisions
Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively across clients, multiple partner relationships, and internal initiatives.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with external and internal teams.
Ability to effectively train, collaborate with, and delegate work to more junior employees
The hiring salary range for this role is $85,000 - $100,000. We also offer an incentive pay program (RevShare) comprising a monthly variable revenue payment opportunity and a discretionary annual performance bonus.
Hiring salaries are determined through interviews and a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, parity with other team members, and alignment with market data.
