Marketing Specialist, Growth Marketing

Voldex is a leading gaming studio with a focus on the UGC (user-generated content) space. We are home to several of Roblox's top games, including Brookhaven, Driving Empire and NFL Universe Football. About the Role:

Voldex is hiring a Marketing Specialist to help bring new players to immersive UGC games on Roblox. We need someone who is a skilled marketer and growth driver. This person will work hand-in-hand with our talented game teams to acquire, engage, and retain players within our games.

What You'll Do:

  • You will own the performance of on-platform marketing to optimize the discoverability and conversion of players to our games. This will be achieved by creating, testing, and analyzing the impact of marketing materials such as game icons, thumbnails, titles, game pages and more.

  • You will facilitate effective communication of upcoming features and releases to the our communities inside and outside the game, ensuring transparency and generating excitement around product launches

  • You will own our key social media platforms such as Discord, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram, fostering community engagement and brand advocacy.

  • You will communicate player sentiment from our social channels back to the game teams

  • You will support content creators, ensuring a consistent flow of social media content for our games 

What You Bring to the Team:

  • 3+ years of experience in marketing for games (marketing material creation, conversion optimization, communications, social media, product marketing)

  • Creative and curious - ability to brainstorm, ideate, hypothesize, and iterate on marketing strategies based on observed performance metrics. 

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, understand and communicate key performance metrics related to performance marketing initiatives

  • Demonstrated understanding of social media platforms and ability to effectively market on them

  • Demonstrated prior experience collaborating closely and cross-functionally 

  • Demonstrated ability to plan the communications for feature & content launches across all relevant channels

  • Passion for video games

  • Knowledge of UGC gaming platforms (Roblox, Minecraft, Fortnite, etc)

  • High interest or experience supporting sports or driving games

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
