Brand & Marketing Design Lead

The Role


The Brand & Marketing Design Lead will manage and develop key brand awareness and demand generation design initiatives for the Wpromote brand, ensuring a high-caliber and cohesive visual identity and compelling b2b assets across all touchpoints. This role is responsible for extending and maintaining the Wpromote brand expression, balancing creativity with strategic business goals. The Brand & Marketing Design Lead will be a hands-on in-house designer who works on their own projects/deliverables as well as an overseer of outsourced design work, providing creative direction, ensuring quality execution, and managing vendor relationships to bring high-quality creative to life.

The anticipated annual salary for this role will range from $90,000- $115,000, based on consideration of a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, education and certifications, competitive benchmarks, scope of responsibility, market dynamics, geographic location, and respective state’s salary threshold for exempt employees. At Wpromote, pay ranges are subject to change and are based on specific market medians for similar jobs according to third-party salary benchmark surveys. Individual pay within that range can vary due to skills, experience, and available budget. The total compensation package for this role will include benefits (listed above).


*This position may be performed remotely in most states within the US, with some exclusions

You Will Be
  • Individually implementing design projects from concept to delivery with minimal oversight.
  • Evolving the Wpromote agency’s brand expression, ensuring consistency across all marketing and communication materials.
  • Providing design direction and feedback to external vendors/agencies to maintain high-quality creative output.
  • Managing outsourced design vendors, ensuring they meet brand standards, deadlines, and project requirements.
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement and optimizing processes to boost efficiency and creative output, with a focus on leveraging AI.
  • Collaborating with marketing, content, and strategy teams to develop brand-aligned assets that drive demand generation and business growth.
  • Creating and overseeing the creation of digital and traditional marketing materials, including ebooks, organic social graphics and video, paid search, social and display ads, website graphics, presentation graphics, print collateral, event signage, and branding.
  • Partnering with internal teams to develop assets for agency-wide initiatives and events.


You Must Have
  • 8+ years of experience in brand and digital graphic design.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in visual storytelling, digital asset creation, and marketing design.
  • Experience providing design direction and managing creative projects with external vendors / agencies.
  • Ability to effectively communicate directly with business colleagues (non-designers) about design direction, concepts, feedback, and recommendations. 
  • A self-starter mentality with the ability to take ownership of projects and work independently.
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) and Figma.
  • A deep understanding of performance-based design principles across digital platforms (landing pages, banner ads, social ads, email, etc.).
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions to stakeholders.
  • Experience utilizing AI to enhance efficiency and speed, or a strong willingness and capability to adopt AI-driven solutions.
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with Asana or similar project management tools.
  • Experience simplifying and showcasing the features and benefits of software products. 
  • Knowledge of motion design and video editing (After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
  • Experience in UX/UI design and an understanding of HTML5 animation.
