The opportunity

Altruist is entering an exciting phase, and we're looking for a Director of Growth Marketing to join our Marketing team. As the Director of Growth Marketing you'll play a key part in establishing Altruist as the category defining brand in the custodial services space. You'll be leading a number of functions that collectively will drive awareness, demand, new customer acquisition, and revenue.

Your impact

  • Develop and oversee a holistic growth charter for new customer growth that optimizes for CAC, LTV, and ROI
  • Drive the long-term web and mobile app strategy by balancing data, technology, and design with customer needs
  • Oversee the refinement of media mix and marketing attribution models to optimize resource allocation, drive growth, and full-funnel performance 
  • Develop and execute an SEO strategy to drive organic lead generation, customer acquisition, and revenue
  • Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams to ensure the implementation of website, app, and full-funnel initiatives that align with business goals
  • Work closely with business intelligence and finance teams to improve attribution, growth forecasts, ROI reporting, and communication of results to leadership
  • Partner across marketing functions, business intelligence, product, engineering to drive outstanding user experiences and improve our marketing reach and efficiency
  • Partner with creative and content teams to develop content and assets to drive performance and enhance the brand
  • Recruit and develop talent to perform at the highest levels and build out high-velocity growth marketing functions

What you bring

  • Experience - 10+ years of experience working in growth marketing at a B2B financial services, fintech, or SaaS organization
    • Desire to up-level analytics tech stack and/or key marketing metrics to increase understanding of marketing spend and overall channel effectiveness
    • Ability to take ownership and understand the full business funnel and how decisions impact the business and the bottom line
    • A proven track record of performance optimization and experience leading cross-functional teams
    • Strong track record of proven and documented success in driving user growth, engagement, and retention through innovative marketing strategies
    • A strong analytics background and a high degree of proficiency using data platforms to drive decision making
  • Education - Ideally looking for a B.A. / B.S. degree in relevant fields such as Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Advertising, etc.
  • Technical aptitude - You’re technologically savvy and can easily get up to speed on modern tech stacks (i.e. Hubspot, Salesforce, Amplitude, Navattic, Wordpress, Figma.)

Total compensation includes a competitive benefits package along with equity in the form of Stock Options (ISOs) for eligible roles. For salaried positions, a salary offer will be determined by a number of factors including experience, skill level, internal pay equity, geographic location, and other relevant business considerations. Base salaries will be reviewed at regular intervals throughout the year, typically in conjunction with performance review cycles.
