The Amazon Adapt team supports the Sales Organization during gaps in business coverage due to Leaves of Absence. Key job responsibilities
As a Manager on the Adapt team, you will report to an Adapt Global Sales Manager and use your strong management skills and 10+ years’ experience selling digital advertising solutions to coach, retain and motivate a senior sales team that works with C-Level clients and their ad agencies to successfully drive revenue targets. With each rotation, you will assume management responsibilities of the team by partnering with the permanent manager and Vertical Director you’re supporting and operations team to structure partnership for success, and cross-pollinate learnings you gain managing multiple teams in various verticals.
With each assignment, you will employ both strategic and tactical approaches to determine short- and long-range revenue plans. You will leverage your senior leadership skills to support teams of Account Executives and/or Account Managers with a focus on revenue performance and professional development. As a member of our elite sales organization, you will benefit from having direct access to the leadership team that has charted our explosive growth and help shape the future of flexible work.
The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in digital advertising sales or partnerships. You should have a proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. Exceptional relationship-building and negotiation skills are crucial, including the ability to engage effectively with senior executives and quickly earn trust with stakeholders.
- 10+ years of digital media ad sales experience
- 5+ years of B2B sales across fortune 500 advertisers and agencies experience
- Experience managing teams
- Experience hiring and retaining sales talent
- Experience in consistently closing sales and generating revenue
The candidate should be able to work cross-functionally and with a wide range of employees with different skill sets. Proficiency in sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar programs is valuable. A Bachelor's degree is necessary, with an MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $221,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
