Technical Sourcer

Ambient.ai is a unified, AI-powered physical security platform that helps enterprise organizations reduce risk, improve security operation efficiency, and gain critical insights. Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Technical Sourcer to join our Talent Acquisition team. 

The Technical Sourcer is an integral member of our talent team, combining consultative, influencing, and endorsement skills to find and attract top talent. Collaborate with recruiting partners, hiring managers, key stakeholders, and other vital cross-functional arms of Ambient to deliver ideal experiences. The Sourcer will be responsible for the full-service candidate sourcing experience and research support across the enterprise.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the technology industry and the ability to identify and engage top technical talent. 

The impact you’ll make:

  • Work closely with recruiters and hiring managers, in both US & India, to deeply understand the requirements of roles, team functions, and how they fit into and complement Ambient’s company culture 

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to build a robust candidate pipeline and help fill the highest priority roles for the company 

  • Utilize various sourcing methods, including Linkedin, job boards, social media, professional networks, and referrals, to identify potential candidates

  • Engage with passive candidates and build relationships to encourage them to consider our opportunities

  • Maintain a database of potential candidates for future job openings

  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitive intelligence to inform sourcing strategies

  • Provide regular status updates on sourcing activities and the candidate pipeline.

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience

  • Experience with Greenhouse, applicant tracking system

  • 2+ years of proven experience as a technical sourcer or recruiter in the technology industry

  • Strong understanding of technical roles and their requirements

  • Familiarity with sourcing tools and techniques, including Boolean search, LinkedIn, and other online platforms

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and candidates simultaneously

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently

  • Strong attention to detail

  • A passion for staying current with industry trends and sourcing best practices
