About the Role: 

Apollo Agriculture is seeking highly motivated individuals with an eye for detail to join our team as Fraud Operations Agents. 

As a Fraud Operations Agent at Apollo Agriculture, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the integrity of our customer journey by identifying and addressing fraudulent activities among our customers and other parties. Your key responsibility will involve mitigating financial risks associated with fraudulent farmers. Additionally, you will be responsible for enforcing the company's Fraud Policy, ensuring compliance, and supporting the loan recovery process.


Reporting Lines: This role reports to the Fraud Operations Senior Associate

Contract Duration: Short Term

Location: Remote (Nairobi)


Responsibilities:
  • Investigating potentially fraudulent applications
  • Utilizing CMS and AFIT for investigations, while documenting findings
  • Scrutinizing administrative reviews involving subjective judgments based on company policies and guidelines
  • Addressing performance flags for field agents and resolving related issues
  • Providing incriminating evidence for agent deactivation advocacy
  • Planning and conducting retraining for field agents with minor data quality issues
  • Completing additional tasks assigned by supervisors as needed


Requirements:
  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, with a preference for Criminology or Forensic Investigations.
  • Proficiency in compiling detailed reports.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English and Kiswahili. 
  • Self-motivated and capable of working remotely under pressure with minimal supervision.
  • Strong computer skills and a deep familiarity with Windows or Ubuntu operating systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of Excel and spreadsheet software.
  • Access to a stable internet connection.
  • Must possess a Police Clearance Certificate, indicating no previous criminal records.
  • Demonstrates high integrity and excellent customer service skills.
