About the Team

Our team brings deep expertise in product craft, solar, and SaaS products. We are collaborative and impact-driven, focused on delivering maximum value for our customers. We power the design experience in Aurora, the core of the platform, enabling users to model natural and built environments, design PV and storage systems, and take projects from proposal to permit. We build both powerful automation tools and highly customizable workflows to simplify and streamline solar design workflows. About the Role

In this role you will lead the development of innovative tools to enable the efficient and accurate design and simulation of solar and storage systems. You will define and execute the product strategy for the electrical design experience, with a focus on enabling users to optimize system performance, leverage market-leading equipment, and model battery usage. You will work closely with Engineering, Design, and cross-functional teams to create and execute a roadmap that supports a product strategy focused on delivering impactful solutions and value for solar sellers and installers. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, technical expertise, and user-centric problem-solving to advance the clean energy transition.

Your Impact

  • Define and execute product vision & strategy to enhance the electrical design experience, improving system performance optimization and battery modeling capabilities

  • Leverage data and customer insights to prioritize product opportunities, balancing user needs, market trends, and business objectives

  • Drive cross-functional collaboration by partnering with Engineering, Design, and other teams to deliver high-impact solutions on time and with measurable success

  • Establish and track key success metrics, ensuring product enhancements lead to increased adoption, improved accuracy, and streamlined workflows for solar professionals

  • Translate complex technical challenges into intuitive solutions that enable solar installers to design and simulate systems with ease and precision

  • Advocate for the customer by integrating user research and feedback at every stage, from ideation to post-launch iteration

  • Foster a high-performing, collaborative team culture, ensuring alignment across stakeholders while maintaining a shared focus on delivering business and customer value

  • Elevate product craft at Aurora through leading by example, sharing best practices and contributing to a culture that values strategic product management, iterative value delivery and continuous discovery

What You Bring

  • Proven product expertise: 5+ years of product management experience in SaaS, with a track record of navigating complexity and leading cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions in a fast-paced environment

  • End-to-end ownership: Drives the full product lifecycle—from discovery and strategy to execution, launch, adoption and iteration—while ensuring measurable success

  • Customer-obsessed mindset: Actively engages with users through interviews, feedback loops, and data analysis to build products that directly address their needs

  • Data-driven decision-making: Translates complex data into actionable insights, using metrics and experimentation to guide product direction and measure impact Understands the balance of data-informed vs. data-driven decisions and leverage both when needed 

  • Strategic problem solver: Navigates ambiguity with confidence, proactively identifying risks, defining priorities, and aligning teams around a clear execution plan

  • Exceptional communication: Effectively conveys technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influences decision-making across all levels of the organization

  • High attention to detail: Thinks critically, validates assumptions, and ensures every solution aligns with the broader product vision and business goals

Nice to Haves

  • Familiarity with solar and storage design and simulation, the regulatory environment, and/or the financing environment of software

  • Preference for B2B product experience

What We Offer
