About This Role

We are seeking an organized and proactive Tier 1 Van Support Specialist to join our team. This role is critical in maintaining the operational efficiency of our mobile grooming fleet by ensuring data accuracy in Fleetio and providing first-level technical support for van-related issues, specifically focusing on chassis and upfit components. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to support pet stylists with timely resolutions.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Maintain Fleetio data hygiene, ensuring accurate and up-to-date vehicle records.

  • Provide Tier 1 support for van-related issues, focusing on critical thinking and troubleshooting technical support issues.

  • Act as the first point of contact for pet stylists experiencing van issues, offering clear and efficient solutions.

  • Organize tows to designated shops or hubs as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  • Document common issues and resolutions to enhance support efficiency.

  • Collaborate with Fleet Operations to escalate complex issues when necessary.

  • Assist in the continuous improvement of support processes and documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Must be both a people and dog lover!

  • Proven experience in technical support or fleet operations, preferably in a remote setting.

  • Familiarity with Fleetio or similar fleet management software is a plus.

  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.

  • Reliable high-speed internet connection for seamless remote support.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills for identifying and resolving issues.

  • Experience in supporting field service teams or mobile operations.

  • Technical documentation and process improvement experience.

Compensation

  • Hourly Rate: $5-$8, based on experience.
