About This Role
We are seeking an organized and proactive Tier 1 Van Support Specialist to join our team. This role is critical in maintaining the operational efficiency of our mobile grooming fleet by ensuring data accuracy in Fleetio and providing first-level technical support for van-related issues, specifically focusing on chassis and upfit components. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to support pet stylists with timely resolutions.
Role & Responsibilities
Maintain Fleetio data hygiene, ensuring accurate and up-to-date vehicle records.
Provide Tier 1 support for van-related issues, focusing on critical thinking and troubleshooting technical support issues.
Act as the first point of contact for pet stylists experiencing van issues, offering clear and efficient solutions.
Organize tows to designated shops or hubs as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Document common issues and resolutions to enhance support efficiency.
Collaborate with Fleet Operations to escalate complex issues when necessary.
Assist in the continuous improvement of support processes and documentation.
Qualifications & Experience
Must be both a people and dog lover!
Proven experience in technical support or fleet operations, preferably in a remote setting.
Familiarity with Fleetio or similar fleet management software is a plus.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
Reliable high-speed internet connection for seamless remote support.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills for identifying and resolving issues.
Experience in supporting field service teams or mobile operations.
Technical documentation and process improvement experience.
Compensation
Hourly Rate: $5-$8, based on experience.
