BuildOps is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst - FP&A to join our rapidly growing team. You will be directly reporting to the Controller. We are looking for a motivated self-starter who can work in a distributed team environment.

What you’ll Do

Conduct financial reporting and planning processes, including monthly flux analysis, Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) forecasting, budget variance tracking, workforce planning, and supporting the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process.
Help prepare and deliver financial insights to stakeholders, including department leads, executives, and the board, ensuring clarity in performance trends and risks.
Identify, improve, and enhance financial reporting capabilities using Workday Adaptive Planning and related systems to streamline planning processes.
Build and maintain relationships with business partners, department leads, and executives to ensure financial data is accurately captured and communicated.
Assist in the design, modeling, and calculation of commission plans, working closely with RevOps and Accounting to build, test, and analyze incentive structures.
Support external audits by assisting with data preparation, providing documentation, and working with Accounting to address queries.
Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and scenario modeling to support strategic decision-making across the organization.

What we look for

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
3-4 years of experience in finance or related field.
Experience in a SaaS or technology startup environment is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with Workday Adaptive Planning is a plus
Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
