As we continuously drive for growth and plan to expand our team, we are looking for a highly driven and achievement-orientated Brand Activation & Event Manager to be part of our team. 

The Role 

Are you a highly organized, execution-focused marketing professional with a passion for bringing go-to-market strategies to life through events and activations? Do you thrive in a hands-on role where you can make an immediate impact? If so, this is your opportunity to lead Capture One’s GTM execution and brand presence across North America in the photography industry.

We’re looking for a Brand Activation & Event Manager (US) to drive the implementation and execution of GTM activations and events, ensuring Capture One is positioned for success in the photography industry. This role will be responsible for planning and executing brand activations, trade shows, product launches, and industry events, while also supporting broader marketing initiatives such as content localization, partnerships, and campaign execution.

You’ll report to the Commercial Director of North America, working closely with the Head of Brand Activation (UK) and the global marketing team based out of Europe. As the on-the-ground lead, you will ensure that Capture One’s GTM activations are flawlessly executed, collaborating with internal teams, external partners, and vendors to create high-impact experiences that engage our audience.

This role requires working cross-functionally with an international team, ensuring consistency in messaging and execution while adapting strategies to the North American market. In terms of travel, the role requires 30-40% travel during peak seasons, including opportunities for international trips to Europe for onboarding and quarterly business meetings.

This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, hands-on marketer with expertise in event execution, brand activations, and GTM strategy implementation. What you will do 

  • Execute brand activations in the US, ensuring alignment with global brand strategy and objectives.
  • Plan and manage brand events, including trade shows, pop-ups, partner collaborations, and sponsorships.
  • Oversee on-site event execution, ensuring seamless setup, engagement, and brand representation.
  • Coordinate logistics, vendors, and promotional materials for high-impact brand activations.
  • Develop partnerships & influencer collaborations, working with photographers, content creators, and industry leaders.
  • Support digital brand activations, assisting with localized messaging and capturing event content for social media.
  • Manage budgets, timelines, and reporting to optimize brand activation performance.

What we are looking for 

  • 4+ years of experience in brand activation, event marketing, or experiential marketing, ideally within photography, creative software, or premium brand industries.
  • Passion for photography & creative communities – You understand photographers, content creators, and creative professionals, engaging with them authentically.
  • Event & activation expertise – Strong background in event planning, logistics, and on-site execution to ensure seamless activations.
  • Partnership & influencer engagement – Experience collaborating with brand ambassadors, content creators, and industry partners to enhance brand visibility.
  • Project management & execution – Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, vendors, and multiple moving parts while delivering high-quality activations.
  • Strong communication & collaboration skills – Ability to build relationships across internal marketing teams, external partners, and cross-functional teams.
  • Problem-solver & quick thinker – Stay calm under pressure, adapt to changes, and handle challenges during live events with ease.
  • Flexibility & travel readiness – Willingness to travel frequently within the U.S. to execute activations, attend industry events, and support marketing initiatives as well as quarterly trips to Europe

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $100.000 – $130.000.
