This position will supervise software development and business teams utilizing Agile and other -related methodologies to quickly build solutions based on customer requirements. You will collaborate with the Program Manager and Technical Leads to support our client with planning, organizing, coordinating, and managing resources to deliver outcomes as defined within our project backlog. This role will also serve as an escalation point for Software Developers to support Sprint outputs and CI/CD production.
This position is located in Newport News, VA.
Lead and guide your team in Agile practices and ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Stand-Ups, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Review/Retrospective.?
Collaborate with leads and development team members to perform backlog refinement.?
Ensure all team features, stories, and tasks are aligned and maintained in project software development lifecycle.?
Provide Agile coaching as required to team members.?
Help the team set realistic objectives for Feature and Sprint delivery timeframes.?
Keep external partners, collaborators, and other interested parties well-informed on team progress and activities.?
Serve as escalation point for CI/CD issues, Sprint output challenges, and code debugging.
Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship and an active DoD Secret Clearance are required
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience working with the Federal Government / DoD, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role
Working knowledge of coding languages, such as JavaScript/Typescipt, C#, Active Server Pages (ASP).net, SQL, CSS, JQuery, AJAX, C++
Minimum 5 years of Scrum Master, or Agile equivalent experience?
1+ years of experience at Scaled Agile Framework?(SAFe)
Proven experience in large-scale data management and software integration projects.?
Demonstrated experience evangelizing and training teams in Agile adoption?
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders
IAT II certification such as Cloud+, Sec+, or equivalent
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
Working knowledge of CArmy cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS)
Working knowledge of Containerization and orchestration tools (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
2 years of experience supporting CI/CD pipelines
Experience with DevSecOps principles and DoD policy related to the topic
PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, or equivalent certification
