About the Role
We’re seeking a seasoned Product Manager to oversee Citizen’s monetization roadmap across our two subscription tiers. This is one of the fastest growing areas of the business, with the opportunity to create many new and exciting features. Expect to collaborate with a well-staffed team of designers, engineers, marketers, and data scientists to execute new on products, and improve on existing ones.
This person is a leader who can combine analytics with a clear product mindset. This role requires someone with deep experience managing consumer subscription products. Ideal background is in mobile gaming, news, entertainment, dating, fintech, or other fast-moving subscription business.
A quantitative mindset will be required to model different financial outcomes of potential projects, and manage the AB testing, planning, implementation, and rollout of revenue optimizations. Above all, this person must think from a customer-first perspective and be an advocate for Citizen users across the country.
Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field, or the equivalent experience
Must be based in New York Area, Los Angeles, or San Franscico Bay
7+ years experience total, with 2+ years having worked on consumer products
4+ years experience working with subscription monetization products
Working proficiency in SQL
Practical knowledge of native app development on iOS and Android
Experience writing product specification documents
Experience improving existing businesses and building 0-1 products
Salary Range & Benefits
The below represents the expected salary range for this position in New York, San Francisco or Los Angeles. We take a number of factors into account when determining compensation including your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
Salary Range: $185,000 to $200,000 annually + equity + benefits
