The HR Generalist acts as a business partner to employees and management at our Grand Island, Nebraski manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will have a good foundation of HR knowledge, a desire to build solid working relationships, and a passion to learn the business in order to contribute to the HR elements of business strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Counsel employees and management on all aspects of HR program delivery, including employee relations, compensation and benefits, talent attraction, development and safety/workers’ compensation.
  • Support the staffing process to ensure positions are filled in a timely manner with high quality candidates.
  • Responsible for the onboarding process.
  • Accurately update various HR systems as weekly payroll processing for production associates.
  • Analyze development needs and implement training plans/programs that support our lean philosophy and identify continuous improvement activities.
  • Drive the consistent application of policy and procedure to maintain positive employee relations.
  • Implement programs to foster employee morale and engagement. 
  • Act as a first point of contact for employees in regards to questions impacting their employee experience.

The annual salary for this role is $55,000 - $72,500 (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)

Qualifications

The qualified candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's Degree is required; Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or similar preferred
  • 3+ years of Human Resources experience
