About The Role

This role is ideal for someone with strong writing/editing skills, a knack for quality control, and the ability to work efficiently and independently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and lightly edit content submitted by Fora travel advisors across multiple categories (e.g., testimonials, profiles, itineraries, guides)
  • Ensure content meets quality standards, is on-brand, and adheres to formatting guidelines
  • Flag and correct errors or inconsistencies in spelling, grammar, structure, and clarity
  • Tag and organize content appropriately within our CMS
  • Provide light feedback to contributors, when applicable
  • Track output and flag issues or patterns to the core UGC team

Requirements

  • Has excellent attention to detail and strong editing/proofreading skills
  • Can follow detailed SOPs and formatting guidelines
  • Is organized and proactive—able to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Communicates clearly and effectively
  • Experience in content operations, editorial work, or the travel industry is preferred

Time Commitment & Compensation

20 hours/week to start, with potential to grow. $25-$35/hr, commensurate with experience. We’re looking for someone who’s excited to stay and grow with us long-term (ideally 1+ year).

  • Flexible remote work and a consistent workflow
  • Insight into the inner workings of a fast-growing travel startup
  • A chance to contribute to a meaningful, community-driven mission
