Job Description

Fortune Brands Innovations Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior Mobile Applications Developer in North Olmsted, OH with the following requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field or foreign equivalent degree and 5 years of related experience. Required skills: Program software to control mobile phones to report and process data and interface with various APIs, cloud and physical devices using Android Studio, Kotlin, Swift, AWS API Integration, and SQL.; Architect software and systems to balance trade-offs between cloud, firmware, and mobile app using Distributed Design System implemented by MQTT, Database design, Modern Android Architecture, MVVM and Jetpack Components; Troubleshoot software problems using Android ADB, Test Driven Development using unit and integration test, Android/iOS emulators, logging frameworks, and Firebase Crashlytics to identify coding errors and resolution; Assess usability of the product by responding to feedback and watching use case testing to improve the product. 40% telecommuting; Must live within normal commuting distance of North Olmsted, OH.
