In this role, you will:
Provide hands on management to your team and maintain a high bar of technical excellence through code reviews, goal setting and 1 on 1 feedback
Own the overall quality of the services in your area of ownership through effective prioritization and management of the technical backlog
Partner closely with product managers and stakeholders on scope, sizing and prioritization to maximize the on-time delivery of business value
Orchestrate cross-team planning for complex, multi-scrum team features
Maintain active engagement from your team and encourage a culture of creative problem solving as well as a bias towards action
Boost engineering productivity through ownership of the SDLC, coding standards, and best practices
Act as a technical and cultural leader for the engineering team

Experience managing a full-stack engineering team
Experience building API-driven backends, efficient and responsive front-ends, and leveraging SaaS solutions
Experience with Kubernetes and service-oriented architecture is preferred
Deep understanding of software architecture and design patterns
Demonstrated track record of delivering projects on time in partnership with business stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to evolve a platform while continuously delivering business value and adhering to SLAs
Experience managing data and application security requirements (including solid SQL or PostgreSQL/relational DB experience)
Typically has 8 or more years of experience in Agile software development
Typically has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field or additional relevant experience
