Job Purpose
The Head of Marketing, North Africa is responsible for Strategic Business Planning, Portfolio Management & Execution of integrated marketing & communication plans from end to end for the Haleon product portfolio across North Africa – Egypt, Maghreb markets, Libya and Sahel.
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
Set strategic roadmap for category and brand growth across North Africa
Set the Category's/brands’ annual objectives, strategies, positioning, A&P plans
Implement the growth acceleration strategy for Haleon brands
Develop and implement marketing comms plans across key brand-market combinations
Manage the A&P budget and oversee the ATL, BTL and digital marketing activities such that media plan are optimized and sufficient
Lead the innovations agenda, aggressively pursuing NPIs & Geo expansion
Create plans to enable Haleon brands to grow and beat market
Lead, grow and develop the Marketing team enabling member to realize their fullest potential
Deliver key KPIs of Sales, Profit and Market share by working closely with concerned departments to drive pack-price architecture, pricing, gross margin improvement etc
Contribute to the forecasting & demand cycle and ensure business target achievement
Responsible for choosing & managing advertising and creative agencies
Ensure that the brand heart and global brand positioning are at the heart of all brand activities
Collaborate with the shopper team to ensure excellence of execution in-store
Work closely with the Business Unit teams to get input into strategy, comms, and innovation as well as media agency management and research

Qualifications and Abilities:
Bachelors degree
15+ years of work experience including as leader of teams
Leadership role in FMCG Marketing
Regional exposure preferred (worked in more than 1 market)
Diverse mix of categories/markets
Strong Leadership skills (Led big teams before)
Has had P&L accountability
Past experience of managing creative & media agencies
Ability to work across teams to achieve business and organizational objectives
Strong analytical skills and business acumen
Ability to work effectively and influence stakeholders to drive business agenda effectively.
