We are seeking a highly motivated Full-Desk Recruiter to join our team, focusing on both skilled trades and leadership positions within the manufacturing industry. This role will encompass the entire recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and attracting top talent to managing client relationships and closing placements. The ideal candidate will have strong experience recruiting for hands-on skilled trades roles (e.g., machinists, welders, CNC operators) as well as higher-level leadership positions (e.g., Plant Managers, Quality Directors, Production Supervisors). Key Responsibilities:
Candidate Sourcing & Recruiting:
- Conduct full-cycle recruiting for skilled trades roles (e.g., machinists, welders, CNC operators) and manufacturing leadership positions (e.g., Plant Managers, Quality Directors, Production Supervisors).
- Use a variety of sourcing methods including job boards, LinkedIn, cold calling, networking, and referrals to identify high-quality candidates.
- Conduct initial screenings, interviews, and assessments to ensure candidates meet the requirements for manufacturing and leadership roles.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of candidates for both skilled trades and leadership roles in manufacturing.
Client Relationship Management:
- Develop and nurture strong, long-term relationships with clients in the manufacturing industry to understand their staffing needs, business goals, and job requirements.
- Provide expert guidance and support to clients in sourcing and hiring candidates for both skilled trades and leadership roles.
- Regularly communicate with clients to provide updates on candidate progress, recruitment timelines, and market trends.
- Negotiate contracts, compensation packages, and placement terms with both clients and candidates.
Sales & Business Development:
- Identify new business opportunities in the manufacturing sector, specifically for skilled trades and leadership roles.
- Generate leads and build a pipeline of new clients by actively reaching out, networking, and pitching recruitment services.
- Manage the entire sales process from prospecting and business development to closing deals and expanding client relationships.
- Attend industry events and networking functions to stay up-to-date on trends and build new business opportunities.
Candidate & Client Engagement:
- Provide a positive experience for candidates throughout the hiring process, from initial outreach to post-placement follow-up.
- Prepare candidates for interviews, ensure they have the necessary information, and offer support throughout the decision-making process.
- Develop and maintain close relationships with clients to ensure their satisfaction and repeat business.
- Facilitate the offer process, including negotiations and ensuring smooth transitions for candidates and clients.
Administrative Tasks & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring timely and organized documentation of each recruitment step.
- Provide regular reports to leadership on key recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, candidate quality, and client satisfaction.
- Handle administrative tasks such as reference checks, background checks, and compliance documentation.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in full-desk recruitment with Direct Hire experience, including a proven track record in sourcing, recruiting, and placing candidates in skilled trades and leadership roles within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong experience recruiting for both technical/trade positions (e.g., machinists, welders, CNC operators) and leadership roles (e.g., Plant Managers, Production Supervisors, Quality Directors).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and candidates at all levels.
- Proven ability to use a variety of sourcing methods including cold calling, LinkedIn, job boards, networking, and referrals.
- Strong sales skills and business development experience, with the ability to meet and exceed targets.
- Experience negotiating compensation packages and handling the offer process.
- Ability to manage multiple job requisitions and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruiting tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.).
- Familiarity with industry-specific certifications and qualifications for both skilled trades and leadership positions in manufacturing.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cold calls, engaging passive candidates,
- Proven track record of Experience recruiting in the manufacturing sector, with knowledge of industry-specific needs and trends.
- Familiarity with relocation logistics and the ability to manage relocation for candidates in leadership positions.
- Knowledge of TN Visas or other work visa processes for manufacturing candidates is a plus.
- Previous experience in a Direct Hire recruitment environment is a Must.
