As the Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for day-to-day oversight of accounting activities of this private equity backed organization which is on a strong growth trajectory. The Staff Accountant will report to the Director of Finance and be a key leader within a small accounting team. This is a hands-on position which demands strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to drive financial performance. • Under the direction of the Director of Finance, will handle corporate accounting, including general ledger reconciliations, account reconciliations, and billing and payable processing. 
• Accounting activities will ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP. 
• Preparation and presentation of accurate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements and other necessary reporting documents. 
• Hands-on direction of the month-end close process and ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. 
• Assistance with outside accounting firm for the preparation and filing of all tax returns. 
• Collaboration with CFO in the formal development and implementation of financial policies and procedures. 
• Active participation in support of annual audits.  

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. 
• 3+ years of experience in financial management roles with relevant experience. 
• SaaS experience required. 
• ERP experience (NetSuite highly preferred).
• Understands revenue recognition for a SaaS organization.
• Thoroughly versed in GAAP particularly with technology related requirements, and have strong background in non-routine and complex transactions.

• CPA or CPA candidate preferred. 

• Preference for candidates based in EST or CST time zone.

Target Salary Bands: Each team member’s compensation decisions are based on several inputs, and we expect many of the candidates who are offered positions to fall within the advertised salary band. We recognize that the team member hired may be less (or more) experienced than the posted job description therefore impacting compensation decisions.
